500 YEARS
Since the Dissolution of Lesnes Abbey
On Thursday 13th February Lesnes Abbey will have been closed for 500 years*.
*For those who know about these things, it was really 3rd February if you take into account the Gregorian calendar change of 1752, but we'll go by the actual date.

Lesnes Abbey Woods is a park in the London Borough of Bexley that contains the ruins of an abbey and an ancient woodland famous for its wild daffodils.
We are the Friends of Lesnes Abbey and Woods, or FOLAW for short, and our aim is to help promote, protect and preserve this historical place.Â
We are a non-profit organisation operating with charitable objectives and bound by a constitution.
Join us to celebrate and protect our ancient woodland and historical ruins.
